PHENOBARBITAL (ETHYL-D5) - Introduction
PENTOBARBITAL-D5 is a chemical standard, which is a compound obtained by replacing the hydrogen atom in phenobarbital with deuterium.
PENTOBARBITAL-D5 have the following properties:
-Appearance is colorless crystals or white powder;
-High stability at room temperature;
-better solubility, can be dissolved in water, organic solvents.
PENTOBARBITAL-D5 is mainly used in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments as an internal standard substance for correcting the frequency of the spectrometer. It can be used as a reference for active substances and samples to determine the relative position and structure of molecules.
The preparation method of PENTOBARBITAL-D5 is mainly prepared by chemical synthesis. Usually the use of phenobarbital and heavy water reaction, to replace the hydrogen atoms, phenobarbital deuterated.
